777 South Broad Grand Opening

On March 25, the JKR Team of Jerry Roller, Matthew Koening, Richard Stewart and Lauren Ulmer attended the grand opening ceremony for Dranoff Properties' newest residence in the heart of Philadelphia's premiere Avenue of the Arts. JKR Partners designed the new, $70-million upscale, contemporary apartment at 777 South Broad Street. The five-story building features 146 one- and two-bedroom loft units as well as 18,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. This eco and pet friendly apartment integrated green friendly practices into the building's design, construction and operation. The project is applying for LEED-certification with Sustainable features that include high-efficiency HVAC systems, a reflective roof, sustainable and low-emitting interior materials, and low-flow fixtures. Noteworthy public figures such as Mayor Michael Nutter, Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell's wife, Federal Judge Majorie Rendell, Councilman Frank DiCicco spoke at the celebration.
