777 South Broad Wins Best in American Living Award

National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) named 777 South Broad a 2010 Best in American Living Award (BALA) Winner. JKR Partners’ Project, a Gold Award Winner - Rental Development 5 Stories and over was announced during the NAHB International Builders’ Show earlier this month in Orlando. For more than 25 years, the BALA Awards, have raised the bar for design excellence in the building industry and highlighted those builders, architects, interior designers, remodelers, developers and land planners who have achieved superior levels of creativity and innovation.

JKR Partners designed the new, $70-million upscale, contemporary apartment at 777 South Broad Street. This project is Dranoff Properties' latest residence in the heart of Philadelphia's premiere Avenue of the Arts. The five-story building features 146 one- and two-bedroom loft units as well as 18,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. This eco and pet friendly apartment integrated green friendly practices into the building's design, construction and operation. The project is applying for LEED-certification with sustainable features that include high-efficiency HVAC systems, a reflective roof, sustainable and low-emitting interior materials, and low-flow fixtures.
