The design of Johnny Mananas creates a dynamic environment full of vibrant colors and imagery. JKR developed a unique bar area that is adorned with a menagerie of exotic tequilas, Mexican folk art, and plasma screen televisions. A grand staircase with custom wrought iron railings leads up to the new mezzanine that provides additional seating capacity and visual interest. While the dining and bar sections are at opposing ends of the restaurant, they are visually connected through the use of various built architectural elements complementing each other.
